At this stage this appeal applies only to those supporters who live in the UK.
We have a virtual charity shop on e-Bay. Next time you decide to clear your wardrobe or clear your shelves, please send your donations to us. We appreciate that posting an item to us will cost you money and require time but we do not have a store and our resources are limited, so we would be very grateful for your help.
Please send your donated items to Simon Moore, Field Fisher LLP, Riverbank House, 2 Swan Lane, London EC4R 3TT.
If it is not practical to send us your items by post (for instance, due to the number of items or their high value), and you are based in London or in the suburbs of London, please contact us and we will see if we can arrange to collect your donation from you.
Please only send us items in a good condition which you believe have residual value. All proceeds from the sale of your items will be spent on saving animals' lives.
We accept donations of precious metals such as gold jewellery.
We especially appeal to fashion lovers. If you like to stay in tune with fashion and buying new season handbags, shoes and accessories is an absolute must for you, then you probably have a few last season items which are still in a very good condition. If you have no use for these items any more, please donate them to us. It will free up some space in your dressing room for new items and will give us valuable resources to continue our work!
Please make your donation go even further making your donation Gift Aid.
Organise a Donate Day
Get your friends together – for a Donate Day. Everyone has at least one piece of clothing, pair of shoes or bag they could donate to a good cause. Put all these donations together and you have got one big donation and you have raised awareness about LAPA among your friends and hopefully had some fun!
Gift Aid on donated goods
We can claim Gift Aid on your stock donation. This will make your donation go even further.
Gift Aid Explanation
If you are a UK tax payer, please make sure you tick the "Gift Aid" box when you make a donation to make your donation go even further. Your donations can be Gift Aid donations if you pay enough income tax and/or capital gains tax to cover the amount of tax (VAT and council tax do not count) that LAPA (and any other charitable organisation you may support with Gift Aid donations) will reclaim in each tax year (currently 25p for every £1 given as a Gift Aid donation).
If you are an E-Bay user
If you are selling an item on E-Bay yourself, please donate a share of your sale proceeds to us. We are registered on E-Bay for that purpose.
